Biaya kesehatan dan pendidikan kerap tak bisa diduga berapa jumlahnya. Kebutuhan ini kerap datang secara mendadak, padahal anggaran keuangan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari sudah terpetakan.

Secara umum gadai emas syariah merupakan pemberian pinjaman secara syariah dengan sistem gadai yang diberikan ke seluruh golongan nasabah untuk kebutuhan konsumtif maupun produktif dengan jaminan emas (emas perhiasan, emas batangan) dan berlian yang terikat emas.

Sementara di PT Gammayo Syariah, biaya simpan dan pemeliharaan per 15 harian dibayar pada saat pelunasan pinjaman. Jangka waktu pinjaman maksimal 120 hari dan dapat diperpanjang, serta nilai pinjaman sebesar 87% untuk perhiasan dan 95% untuk Logam Mulia (LM) dari nilai taksiran barang.
Melalui produk ini masyarakat yang membutuhkan dana mendesak dapat dilayani, baik untuk keperluan tahun ajaran baru sekolah, berobat, dan kebutuhan yang lainya. Bagi masyarakat yang tertarik, cara mendapatkannya juga cukup mudah, aman, dan relatif cepat.
Produk Gadai Emas Syariah ini juga memberikan fasilitas lain yang menguntukan bagi para Nasabah.
Pertama, masyarakat memperoleh dana cepat dan mudah sesuai dengan syariah.
Kedua, memenuhi kebutuhan dana mendesak seperti biaya sekolah dan berobat.
Ketiga, emas yang dijaminkan seluruhnya disimpan secara aman dan berasuransi syariah, dan apabila nasabah ingin melakukan penebusan sebelum jatuh tempo, nasabah juga tidak dikenakan penalti.
Keempat, sebagai bukti transaksi, nasabah juga akan diberikan sertifikat gadai oleh pihak perbankan.
Keuntungan lain dari gadai emas berbasis Islam ini adalah Nasabah bisa mengukur keuangan mereka secara teratur. Pada prinsipnya, Nasabah akan mendapatkan pembiayaan dengan cepat karena gadai emas syariah ini profitabilitasnya tinggi.
Hingga kini jumlah nasabah gadai emas syariah terus meningkat setiap tahun di Indonesia.
